Location Shots
Catford Rail Station:
Beckenham Hill Rail Station:

Lower Sydenham:

In its pre-production stages, Hunting Innocence has now fully equipped with its location shots.
The contributing factors to making the decisions where: the availability of the train station as we wanted thestation to be deserted when we filmed there, its accessibility, how easily Charlotte, Katie and I could get there and ultimately what the station looked like.
The stations in the running were: Catford, Beckenham Hill and Lower Sydenham.
In the end we decided to go with Catford Station and Beckenham Hill.We are going to be filming (soon enough) at Catford's Catford Rail Station, located in the borough of Lewisham. Being somewhere my partner and I know well, we concluded that this staion would be more than appropiate because of its history. Having been the location of a few crime scenes, Catford Rail Station has gloomy, eery feel to its atmosphere which we believe would set the perfect tone for our thriller. We will feature most of the opening sequence in the station as we belive it can capture of the genre than just having the protagonist walking alone for most of the sequence; if this was the case we thought it would look too tedious and the audience would not really understand why we would have spent the opening so long in only one location.
And we chose Beckenham Hill as the other station the protagonist would use as it also fulfilled the criteria and it's normally deserted on the weekends, except for the odd person, and it is also in close proximity to all of us. I don't think its been the location of any crimes like Catford but it is a creepy looking station!
