First Filming Session
Date: 15th February 2010
Began filming at: 10:20am
Scenes: 12 to 17
On Monday the 15th of February we finally began filming Hunting Innocence. My partner and I decided that our first location to be shot would be Catford Rail Stations with the scenes that would see the protagonist getting off the train, getting out of the train station and approaching her home. We had planned to film all of these major scenes all in one go since because of our busy schedules we didn't know if we would all be able to make it to the next filming session. However, unfortunately due to some technical difficulties, I had not known that the camera's batteries were both not fully charged and forgot to check.
By my fault entirely, I should have checked before filming as we had to cut our filming session short as we ran out of batteries prematurely.
But we did manage to get some great shots of the protagonist leaving the train station and walking up the road, even though it was quite a struggle at some points as we had a few passer-bys; there were cases were people actually complained to us as they did not want to appear in our film and there were also a few shots with people running right in front of the camera in order to catch their trains.
Still to be filmed: scene of protagonist waiting at Beckenham Hill Rail Station, shots of protagonist entering a train and leaving a train and scene of arrival of protagonist at her house.
